Indoor Plant Spray

I LOVE plants! Funny how that love doesn't just make them be healthy and grow... My indoor plants get a healthy dose of forgetting them and then remembering to water them. I am working on this, HA! If you don't love plants, you should! In alllll their stages there are massive benefits!

This helpful info was shared with me by @samanthasoilnest and her account is making me feel capable with my plants

🪴Plant sprays on the market today are filled with synthetics that are toxic & pollutants. 👎🏻
🌿 Did you know plants can help other plants? It makes total sense, as some of us learn about companion planting. ⁣

🪴 Make this all-natural plant mist for your green indoor babes using powerful plant oils!

Some houseplants, like orchids & other tropical plants, also need extra humidity, especially during the winter.
Keep their soil healthy & pest-free with these simple yet effective recipes:
⁣🌿 The base of every plant spray of mine starts out with a capful of Thieves Household Cleaner (THHC) in 16 oz of water, 15-20 drops of oil(s), & sometimes 3 drops of Thieves Dish Soap when I need to pack a punch. ⁣

*To make a small bottle of plant mist, like shown here, mix your THHC in a 16 oz bottle (or 2 cups of water), add to a 4 or 8 oz bottle of your choice, then add 10-15 drops of oil.*

🌿 All-Purpose Plant Mist/Shiny Leaves Spray:

Capful of Thieves Cleaner in 16 oz water & 20 drops Citrus Fresh, if using 16 oz spray bottle.

To use: ⁣
Depending on the plant, gently spray down leaves, wiping them with a soft cloth, then spray the soil. Do this once a week or so. ⁣

🪴 Oils to add for regular cleaning:
Rosemary, Clove, Peppermint, and Orange
🪴 Oils to add for fungus gnats: ⁣
Patchouli, Spearmint, or Purification ⁣
🪴 Spider mites or plant lice: ⁣
Peppermint or Spearmint ⁣
🪴 Mealybugs:
Lemon, Orange, or Citrus Fresh

🪴 Flies: ⁣
Lavender, Peppermint, Purification, Thieves, Basil, Clove, Rosemary, Eucalyptus Globulus, or Citronella ⁣
How to use: ⁣
Depending on the plant, spray down the leaves, under & topsides, as well as the soil 1-2x a day. ⁣
