The Haven Farmstead is blessed to have the opportunity to partner with three other families to provide you with humanely and ethically raised chickens for your table. We guarantee that the birds you receive to feed your family are as important as the chicken we place on our tables.

The Haven Farmstead was started on raw land in the fall of 2022 with these guiding principles: to be a “Haven” for others when needed and to provide food grown and raised with sustainable farming practices. We traded in a beef cattle ranch in Western North Dakota for a homestead in middle Tennessee. We are committed to raising quality meat options, raw milk, and eggs for themselves and others while improving soil quality. You are invited to the Haven to view our animal-raising practices and share the lifestyle that we love.

The journey to establish a farm that would feed us has morphed into providing those within our community with clean food options and the opportunity to learn how to live a homesteading life through our hands-on workshops. Acorn Creek Farmstead offers families raw milk, pasture-raised meat and eggs, seasonal CSA packages, home-canned goods, and fermented foods. Enjoy the beauty of middle Tennessee and farm life while staying at our guest house. Here on the farm, we practice simple living with traditional values while striving for food freedom. These are all traits we wish to share with all who visit.

FULL CIRCLE HOMESTEAD

Full Circle Homestead began in 2021 with the goal of redeeming farming practices of the past while embracing the wisdom of the future. The homestead emphasizes land regeneration, holistic animal husbandry, and offering our livestock clean feed options. Our family is passionate about consuming and offering others the opportunity to create clean meals around a table while restoring traditional living.

Pasture-Raised Chicken

Each homestead practices good livestock husbandry and a solid pasture rotation schedule. For these reasons, our chickens are raised on pasture, allowing them to consume as much fresh grass and bugs as they desire. The chickens raised on our farms are free to move about and enjoy the sun as God intended.

RAISED ON A NON-GMO WHOLE GRAIN FEED
Together, our farms have committed to raising chickens on whole grain non-GMO feed, grown and milled by a local family farm in Middle Tennessee. We take what and how we feed our pasture-raised chicken flock seriously. In addition to offering a locally sourced non-GMO whole grain, the grains soak for 12 hours, increasing the nutritional value of the grains.

PRICING AND PICK-UP
When selecting your pasture-raised chickens, please choose from one of the two buying options: 

INDIVIDUAL WHOLE CHICKEN
Our pasture-raised chicken will range between 4 to 8 pounds. The price per pound is $5.75.

THE ULTIMATE POULTRY PACKAGE
The Ultimate Poultry Package comprises pasture-raised chickens weighing an average of 24 to 29.25 pounds per 5 birds based upon availability. Select from the 5 or 10 poultry package options. 
  • 5 chicken poultry package, a 5% savings.  
  • 10 chicken poultry package, a 10% savings.
PICK - UP LOCATIONS AND TIMES
Will will be offering three pick-up locations. You can pick up your pasture-raised poultry at the farm in Waynesboro, or in Columbia, TN, or Lewisburg, TN. Please indicate where you wish to pick up your purchase at the checkout screen.

The 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month between 10 am – 4 pm.
